Appointments SectionWelcome to the Appointments Section of the Physiotherapy Pain Association Website. We offer an opportunity for employers to advertise to a select group of physiotherapists. It is expected that these adverts will be of interest to a Chartered Physiotherapist with a special interest in the evidenced-based management of pain. We will expect advertisers to be placing adverts when they recognise a need to recruit physiotherapists with the ability to assess patients within a Biopsychosocial model, and with clinical skills that will normally include an ability to apply Cognitive-behavioural management.

Flexible hours working within interdisciplinary pain management teamHuman Focus Return to Work was established five years ago as an independent provider of vocational rehabilitation services. We work directly for the DWP, employers, insurers, and solicitors delivering high quality rehabilitation and pain management services. Our approach uses the biopsychosocial model as its core. As part of our national expansion we are seeking physiotherapists and occupational therapists to join our organisation on flexible employment terms at locations around the UK. Whether you are currently employed within the NHS or have your own private practice, this is a rare opportunity to gain valuable experience in work focused pain management within one of the UK's leading private sector providers. Working alongside cognitive behavioural therapists, occupational therapists and orthopaedic specialists, you will help clients with a wide range of both acute and chronic health problems recover and return to work via evidence based behavioural intervention programmes. As well as interdisciplinary pain management programmes, you will also have the opportunity to provide physiotherapy, based on cognitive behavioural principles, on both a group and one-to-one basis. If you are currently employed within the NHS, you do not have to leave to take up this exciting opportunity. We will provide you with access to local high quality premises, in-house training, competitive rates of pay and flexible working hours to suite your availability. If you would like to know more about the opportunities within Human Focus, then contact Andrew Pemberton on 08700 552 5695 or alternatively send your CV with a covering letter to andrewp@returntowork.co.uk
We would recommend that the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy website at www.csp.org.uk is also visited by physiotherapists seeking suitable employment.
